Requesting Evaluations - New Process For 2026/2027
Rhode Island now has three Referee Coaches (Mark Oliver, Mark Ferreira, James Bowne). In order to properly receive requests for Regional Evaluations (both for maintenance and for upgrade) and organize these requests, the following process will be implemented:
1) Referees must RECEIVE AND ACCEPT a valid match assignment (U19 or Adult).
2) Once the match has been accepted, click on the "EVALUATION FORM" button.
3) Enter the details of the match into the form.
Once the form has been submitted, the Coaches will convene to determine if anyone is available to watch this match. In the (hopefully) unlikely situation where no one is available, it will be up to the Coaches to contact Massachusetts or Connecticut Coaches to see if anyone else can watch the match.
In all situations, the referee WILL be informed whether the match can be watched WITHIN 7 DAYS. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY - REQUESTS FOR EVALS LESS THAN 7 DAYS IN ADVANCE ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO BE GRANTED.
